I'm in the middle of replacing my intake manifold just swapping non pi to non pi. I have everything off and I'm ready to reassemble but I'm wonder if I need to use RTV and if so where do I need to put it?

I gotta say so far this has been a breeze I just hope I remember where everything goes hahaha.

rtv is needed around the water jackets if installing a pi intake onto non-pi heads. You should clearly see where rtv is needed if you lay the pi gaskets onto your non-pi heads.

 

Misson complete no leaks but I do have a new issue. The car has a horrible rough idle and shutters really bad if you try to drive it. Its nearly undrivable. I was cleaning a lot of the parts as I took them off and I'm wondering if maybe the simple green I was using externally on the fuel injectors have caused an issue. Its the only thing I can think of.

I replaced the spark plugs while doing this project and the wires, coil packs, fuel filter, fuel pump all less than 4000k miles old.

Any ideas guys?
