No sealer, but I do spray some silicone lubricant on the seal when installing it. The are sometimes tough to keep from slipping out of place. Also are you sure its not coming from the fill nozzle grommet on the side of the tank? Something to check

Yea i replaced the filler neck o ring about 6 months ago so its not the o-ring, its actually the gasket between the sending unit and the tank. I found out the seal that came with the fuel pump i bought didn't sit right when i took off the sending unit. So I trimmed it down and put a bunch of black gasket sealer . I know its kinda rigging it but It will work for now till I find a musting on craigslist getting parted out for cheap. Thanks for the help tho
