i will be taking it to all american on monday. no i haven't checked the fuel pressure. how would i go about doing that?

Just a shot in the dark...does the car have stock 19lb fuel injectors? If you have aftermarket injectors the speed density cars wont run right.

And like GNS said i would check the fuel pressure...

Also you said you did cap and rotor and plugs etc... Did you replace the ignition coil? That could be the issue... When was the last time you replace the fuel filter? a dirty/clogged filter could do it too. It may also be dirty/clogged fuel injectors?

yes i have changed the fuel filter, it has the stock injectors. and no i didn't replace the ignition coil. that will be the next thing. how hard is it to install a complete msd6al system in my stang? is it something i could do? and i have since drained the fuel out and replaced it with fresh 93 octane and it is running alot better. i must have gotten bad gas or something. i dunno i am still going to bring it to all american when i get a day off work.
