Do you favor big blocks or small blocks?

For idling through a car show parking lot, I prefer the big block. For everything else, the small block wins me over. With today's technology, you can build a small block with equal cubes to most big blocks, but you get the benefits of cheaper pieces, higher powerband, and improved room for working on the motor in the car.
Small because Im short, I drive a 281 and its great.
