Heads/Intake ?
yeah i would ditch the Victor, I had it on one of my 302 5 spd cars. Car was a dog even when leaving the line, had to up the starting rshared_pm a whole bunch. Just wasnt a fun car. swapped to a cheap explorer till I found a good intake and it was amzing the difference it felt in stop and go traffic and just cruising at low rpms.

Not with FI Tommy, you are adding runner length wich will increase bottom end.

I am putting together a turbo set up with AFR 185's, short runner EFI on my Boss 302 with a 76mm BB Turbo. The cam is definitly the key here.
From what I understand with the big head/small cube debate and what actually will be fast and DD friendly, is a cam with low duration and fairly high lift, a good 112-114 lobe seperation and talyor the intake and exhaust events to the needs/use of the motor, N/A, boost or nitrous.
(185's are really not that big a head these days)
There a just so many damn choices out there you can go nuts!

He is building a dail driver N/A street car....
It is an interesting topic and no need for any pissing. This is a tech section.
Small engines like the new coyote 5.0 has heads that flow 300cfm. I understand that it is a 4v engine and is not a direct comparison. But, it is a classic case of big heads/small engine.
