Powder coat or paint?

Default Powder coat or paint?

I got a black 3 pt strut brace. Since it is right over the engine will it get super hot? I wanted to paint or powder coat it the exact color of the car. WHich should i do?

Paint will be fine and easier to match

^ paint is fine, if PC is not done right it can be a pita, whatever you do, do it right.
Back in my car show days I painted a SBC enginewith white base coat, a gold-candy with orange highlights and cleared it. It held up fine for years.
