I have a 90 gt and a turbo kit I just got... If it was your daily driver would you put the turbo kit on it or what? I has a fresh motor and arp head bolts. Do you guys think itd be safe on 7-10 pounds with a good tune? I just don't wanna blow up the dd. Lol but I've wanted/ talked about getting a turbo for my car but now that I have it idk if I should put it on or not.

Dude, do it. Nothing wrong with a nice safe tune with 5-10 pounds.

Cars are coming out with turbos and superchargers from the factory now.

Ofcourse if you keep racing your daily then that will be another issue lol.

Hell yeah! As long as you're not in the boost, its as tame as a N/A stock set up.

No I don't have another ride. Lol. I always have one of my dads cars. I think I want to I'm just gonna get the hotside cut and re welded. Then I need 3.27 gears, and to change my oil pan to one that is already tapped and then get the diablo chip tuned.

Go ahead and do it. Just make sure the turbo and its A/R is big enough that the turbo doesn't spool immediately. And remember proper warmup and cooldown periods. And as long as you keep your foot out of the throttle you won't even notice its there.

Yeah its the right size. Its the kit that spencer had up for sale. But the hot side is just 304 stainless so it broke and it was re welded and I'd really just like to get a mild steel hot side that won't crack and just sell that on. Because even If I get it re welded it'll just brake again.
