i did the subframes on my car (97 gt) didn't notice much difference.. i guess its a bit stiffer in the corners but nothing spectacular!

id do them on the cobra, but you might want to check... they might already be there... i think they put them on the bullitts and i know they put them on verts from the factory (sn95 anyway)

if you want some crazy subframes check out www.kennybrown.com , their system is awesome from what i've read.....

Zate,

Here's a link to the subframe debate over at corner-carvers.com.

http://corner-carvers.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=4200

It gets a little off topic after the first page (berating the guy for essentially not searching and reading before he started asking questions). There's probably a better thread I could refer you to, but i'm too lazy to go look for one. Search and you shall find what you want. Really knowledgable people over there... but beware the newbie...

The bottom line... stay away from Kennybrown. Griggs is an excellent choice. MM is a VERY close second and definitely more economical.

If you're gonna be out at the autox this weekend, you can take a look at my MM Full-length subs.

I love when people talk out of their ass and really have no idea what they are talking about. When I talked to John Griggs (check the name again if your slow) he said there was absoluty no problem running the KB matrix kit with the severe duty torque arm. Last I checked he is more qualified to make that decision then anyone here or on corner-crackheads.com. Only ones saying KB sucks are the ones not running them, everyone who has tried or is using them is more then happy with the results.

I've been running that combination (torque arm with KB) now for almost a year with plenty of launches on slicks and drag radials. No sign of fatigue.

As for stock subframe connectors they are really a joke. They are bolton units that inturn end out tearing where they boltin. You need to have subframe connectors welded in or your wasting your time.

The MM full length are pretty good units too and the griggs through floor are awesome but thats for a track car only. I still contend the global west are the best all around for money. They provide jack rails, plenty of ground clearance, heavier guage steel then most other manufactors and fit perfect everytime. The KB kit is very nice but much more labor intensive to install then any of the others.
