What do you guys think
I've been reading around and I want to do an exhaust upgrade next. Would a h-pipe be worth considering or should I leave the little y in there and go from there? What about compression if I go to dual, would I be losing enough to hurt my car?

Let me know if you want some prices if you want a bolt on kit.

You lost me on the compression issue. But if you seriously plan on doing other mods. go with the real dual exhaust.

nah.
turbo > supercharger
They flow mo' pound for pound and don't give you so much torque you can't plant it all to the ground. For street cars, blerbo is better....gives you a wider power boand....power comes in up top. Better gas mileage, mo' airfl;ow, mo' power and mo' bitches who take it in the ass..

Pace setter makes an adaptor that turns the y pipe into an h pipe, then you use whatever gt catback you want. Only $70 for the y adaptor. I wouldnt let an exhaust shop fab you up a dual exhaust setup. They usally stick so many kinks and bends its not worth it.
I think the guy meant to say you will be losing backpressure...not compression. The 3.8 responds very well to the true dual H-pipe setup, but I wouldn't go much over 2.25inch when you do get a cat back.
