Default Chassis setup question

Picasa Web Albums - IRELA CUETO-PALUMBO - Southern Buic...

This was on my 9.8 pass.. look how the car lifts.

Why does it do this? How do I keep the back down?

suspension is 90/10's on 14-175 QA1's on the front
Rear is BMR uppers, solid lowers, 4 cyl springs, 50/50 shocks.

Its like a cat that jumps up.

60 foot on 17's was 1.50

Have you tried disconnecting the anti roll bar?

Edit*
I forgot, you have SSM lowers right? Ditch em'!!

I ditched the tq arm and went with sid uppers and lowers

Without the antiroll it twists to the right really hard. You can put a basketball between the drivers tire and fender when it left

When I brake tq the car it goes up like if it had slapped bars

Could the rear shocks do this?

I would say this is the SSM arms....OLD technology. Every set up article I read says start with rear square in car "of course" and with lower arms paralell to the ground "or as close as possible" and then make pinion angle adjustments with the uppers

How can I tell if they are Ssm bars?

The lower control arms look like a solid tube with a sperical on one end and a poly on the other

There will be a brack that is welded / tacked to the factory lower control arm mounts on the rearend and it will have a bolt there usually and then a bolt through the control arm itself, through the added brackets.

This is on a G-body, but will look the same on a Fox. Cant find it, but I read somewhere they have like 5 degrees of built into them if uppers are stock length
