Car payments are gay. Quite frankly I'm tired of the payments and wish I had a fox body that I can own outright and never have to worry about payments so I can take that money and buy some go fast goodies. As much as I love my car, considering its exactly what I want, I don't need the payments right now. I owe $13,600 on the car and I'm not sure what I should ask for. If I do sell the car it won't be for about another month or 2. Anybody have opinions??

 

Sorry to hear about having to sell the car. I feel the same about my Mustang. Love the car, but I can't afford the insurance....plus I gained interest in auto-xing...something that I can't do with a car with drag race suspension.

How much is your car worth? Since you still owe $13k, I imagine you are past the break even point. I think Cobra's your year blue book around $17-18k depending on mileage and condition. Check out what the blue book is for private sellers, then go about 1-2k above since the car looks to be in excellent condition and you have stuff done to it.

 

I would like $1500-2000 and take over payments. I love it to death but I don't need the payments right now. I would love an 86 LX hatch or a 90 LX coupe...has to be black with grey interior though
