Sounds like the soleniod is not making a good ground, it grounds through the ears of the soleniod, make sure the paint is ground off.

ok, ill get a new switch tomorrow and see wat happens
and yea my solenoid is grounded pretty well

and when i tried to put the starter directly to the battery all i got was a very tiny spark and no action. but it only does it when i disconnect the battery and then reconnect it

iv been readin up in this crap all day lol
ill check the grounds and wires tomorrow

but i do think my ignition switch is bad, iv noticed alot of people say that when they go bad u have problems with windows, alarms, locks, blinkers and sometimes reverse lights. and sometimes my passenger side window doesnt want to go up

if he jumped the solenoid wired for an old style starter and nothing happens....there's only one thing on the other end of that wire, the starter?

^i agree, probably burnt the starter up moving the car with it engaged. Might want to check the flywheel for broken teeth while you are down there.

well that past few days have been things u have to replace to eliminate them off the list.

and it turned out to be the starter lol. i just didnt want to have to change it again because i just put that one in about 4 months ago
