he can do the same thing if he strokes his current motor, they are selling kits that are a lot cheeper then a new motor, and would get better gains along with fordged internals.
I forgot about that, I was on some site that had stroker kits.

It's pretty cool now and then to see a pretty quick stang in a mag or something. But what they neglect to mention is the cost. Ya blower would help. But they also say ported heads and cams but don't mention price. But let's say u started to make some decent power. Your tranny isn't gonna last long. Plus your 7.5" rear can't take alot of power either. There is a guy on Stangnet that has a 00' v6 on slicks and shattered the rear cuting 1.95 60ft's. IMO for all the money u put in it u could of got a v8 instead. Just trying to help ya and saving u from doing something then in 1 year u changing your mind or car. -Mark

I would stay with the V6 and do something differnent than everyone else...
The 11psi Procharger claims 345 crank hp, not bad, I think. That would be fairly easy to install and with a good tune you could safely do it with now problem. Then you find me on the street and kick my ass.

Then there is the turbo, harder to install and maintain but the results are awsome. Be prepared though for the baggage that comes with having a custom turbo setup.

Put the funds aside to replace the tranny and the rearend WHEN you break them. It WILL happen if you run that much power.
