alternator fuse for ranger

no, running was 11.5 volts.




I don't know if it would be a good way of checking the fuse but I put the meter on the negative battery and the positive wire that would connect to the battery and got the same as the battery. IS this a good way of checking the circuit is closed?

fusible link will most likely going to the battery side of the solonoid. Have you pulled the alternator and had it tested?

the alternator is brand new and has been tested.


So I need to look on the other end to the starter realy?

Man there is only so much info we can help you with i think its time for you to take it to a shop. If you dont know what your doing and your messing with wires you can really f**k up your trunk i see this all the time where people that want to do it themselfs and it ends up costing a ton more cause now your paying to fix all the stuff you messed with. Wiring is not easy to do just be careful. Not trying to be a dick.
