Just wondering as I just purchased a set of 18x10's for my car. Should be here in about a week. Offset is +40. From what I've read so far I think I'm going with 285/40/18's. I'll know better once I do a mock fit when they come in.

Edit: Fitment should be like this. Same wheels and offset.

 

i have 20x10s with a 35 offset and a half inch spacer. 275s for now. this is the best pic i have for now....

 

Looks like you have some "poke" with the spacer and a 5mm lower offset. I'm hoping these wheels don't look "sunk" in the fender otherwise I might be buying spacers for the front as well. I'm thinking it wont though as the typical front wheel to go on is an 18x9 +30 which would sit 3mm more in than the wheels I had purchased. I'm hoping the wheels are flush and I can run a decent width tire so that I don't get any "stretch".

 

yeah i think it will work. i want to try 295s next without the half inch spacer. with the 315s i have now its to much of a stager, i dont like how it handles. i might go down to a 305 in the rear with 295 up front

 

Looks like your rims are living in fear of a curb. The lip looks like it is the farthest thing outboard.

 

thats why i dont hit curbs...i've had those wheels for almost 3 years, not a single curb hit.

 

Good on you! If it were me, curbs would be attacking me from ambush.
