Default GT40 heads valve spring installed height?

Ok so i just ordered valve springs for the great set of gt40 heads i got over the weekend from st.pete chad. The tech guy at ATECH (summit wholesale) recomended trickflow springs tfs-15109 and retainers tfs-21400424. the spring specs are. Yes i am using a flat tap cam its a nonroller block. but when i checked the installed height of the stock springs they were 1.8in/1.7ex??
will these springs work? also the retainers they sold me have a spring seat od of 1.5 when the springs have a od of 1.437? are these good or was the tech guy an idiotic catalog reader?
Recommended Camshaft Style Flat tappet hydraulic Installed Height (in) 1.700 in. Seat Pressure at Installed Height (lbs) 115 lbs. Open Height (in) 1.200 in. Open Pressure (lbs) 285 lbs.

Lots of opinions on the TF spring kit. Many have reported good results. I have never used them....
I "think" there are offset keepers you use on the exhaust side. I assume you have "P" heads. Also with the TF kit you are limited total lift. You may also be limited on lift due to the pedestal rockers.
GT40 heads can be a money trap if you get too crazy.

This is a GT40 head with the PAC springs that needed machine work.

I wish I could take credit. These were going on a "sleeper" that may or may not get done. The lower is a Systemax 1 that matches an Extrude Honed HO upper.

i have confermed that these valve springs were absolutley incorrect! they were ment for old style 302. Im looking for the ford racing offset retainers and springs now. i wont be using trick flow in the future for springs nor allowing summit to look up parts for me anymore.

Same here... Never have had a problem with trick flow springs on any of my GT40 heads, and three different sets I purchased from Summit have been spot on. Sre you dont have the double roller valve springs for the track heat heads?
