High idle, high voltage on TPS
Anyway im gonna head out and get to work, I dunno about the weather in tampa but in jax its perfect out. 71 degrees with a little wind.
Okay guys, I fiddled with the TPS a little more, and was prepared to drill it, but noticed that when it was loose I had a little more playroom, so I stuck some washers inbetween the throttle body and the sensor and I got it down to exactly 1v. Slightly less depending on how hard I release the throttle linkage, its lowest was .96, but sometimes it also hovers around 1.01 if I dont release the throttle linkage hard. I'm going to leave this up to its a cheap multimeter, I'll put my expensive one on it once it returns from saudi arabia or whereever the hell it is.
Anyway, I think i am hearing a small vacuum leak, I'm going to check the diagram and hunt for it later.
The only other problem im getting is that when the car first starts for the first 30-45 seconds the idle still sits around 1100-1200, which isn't bad, but after that first amount of time it drops to 600 rshared_pm stable. Now, I'm not too worried, because the thing has 135k miles on it, but any ideas on whats causing this?
