It seems that Ford is starting to find it's root's again. You're paying for the Mustang name and performace this time around, Not just the name.

$10 says they still use the "cracked off" Rods they have been using since '96. But upgraded the crank and pistons. Lol

According to the article:
"Inside the engine are a forged-steel full counterweight crankshaft and four-bolt main bearings and high-performance pistons and connecting rods"

So whatever they mean by high performance pistons and connecting rods. Hopefully it won't be shit.

whats wrong with cracked rods? Though seems like a down grade to 4 bolt main since orlder 4v were 6 bolt

My problem with the 4.6L cracked rods is the fact that their junk. Romeo or Windsor...
