squeak/screetching noise

A main bearing will screatch like you describing also. What do you know about the motor Harold?

I'd put it on jack stands ;ike Fuelie was saying and have someone in the car were you can crawl around and diagnos it.

25psi at idle and 55 psi at mid throttle.

if the engine is off and tranny in neutral the crank isnt turning , so the tob cant be turning. the clutch is bolted to the flywhhel wich is bolted to the crank.input shaft is splined,I'd bet on it not being the TOB . something has to be hitting the driveshaft or one of the backing plates on the brakes

let you guy know here in a little.i am going to jack up the back and put it stands .test run on stands to c if it makes noise,and turn the wheels with out the motor running.

we will run squealing or not.motor loud enough to drown out the noise lol!hopfully it will be straighten out by the weekend.

FIXED!! put it up on jack stands and ran it.noise was at the rear tail shaft of the trans.pulled the drive shaft,checked the ujoints,and they were good.i think what was causing it was due to the fact the was trans was low on oil when i changed out the engine(level plug was loose).so i filled it up to the level plug.i think what happen the rear bearing dryed up and won"t let the oil past the yoke and beaing.since i pulled the drive shaft out it allowed oil to get past it.reinstalled drive shaft in car and no more noise.ran the piss out of it.i even got race when i was out test running it.old harley bike i think.boy was that guy pissed.lol!! thanks for the input guys.
