No it has the Taurus electric fan swap and there is a switch inside the car to flip it on or off while driving.

What I was trying to say the way it was on the opposite post as the positive battery cable, that post is hot only while your turning the key to start, as soon as you let off the key, that post is de-energized so the starter will stop turning

Well I removed the wires and have not relocated them to the battery post quit yet but I do not the fan will not turn at this point and the car is still not firing. So I am not sure why they worked when driving if that terminal doesnt typically run hot. This is getting confusing.

Its really simple....The small red wire comes from the key switch, when you turn the key to start, that wire becomes "hot". Once you let off the key it is no longer "hot". It makes the connection inside to "jump" power from the battery side of the solonoid to the starter side, so the starter will turn. Does that help any?

Yes it makes it clear on what is what in there, so if it is sparking that means it is hot when I turn the key like it is supposed to. However three things still are not clear, why is the car not starting? Is it the starter not getting a signal due to a bad solenoid, why is it sparking? Why do the yellow wires work when bolted to that solenoid if technically there is no juice that is supposed to run to them while I am driving.

Maybe I am missing what your trying to open my eyes to but there a few little things here that just are not familiar to me.

If something is sparking, then its either a bad connection or starter is locked up. If you take a screwdriver and "jump" the 2 big terminals the starter should turn. All a solonoid is, is a big contactor

I tried taking a screwdriver and touching both posts on the solenoid but got no response, or was that supposed to be jumped on the starter.

If you jumped the 2 big posts on the pictured solonoid and get no response then there has to be a low voltage situation. I say that because when you manually jump them with a screwdriver your doing the job that the solonoid does electrically. ALL IT DOES IS MAKES A CONNECTION FROM BATTERY TO SOLONOID. It is a very simple switch.

Hmm I mean I had jumper cables on the car and everything so the battery is good and the voltage is reading fine. I took the screwdriver and touched both posts on the pictured solenoid. It is sounding more and more like either a bad solenoid or starter based on what your teaching me and troubleshooting everything.

I'd pull the starter if your not getting any response doing it manually. Like I said earlier, your doing the job of the solenoid when you jump it manually, so now move to the next possible cause... I'd look into the starter. Pull it and take it to the parts store and they can bench test it for free
