Default Recommendations on the best location for a MSD box.

I am putting a MSD BTM on the Fox tomorrow. It is a street driven car and I tend to wash the engine sometimes.

Where have you guys been putting the boxes? I need somewhere I can live with, I drive it pretty regular and usually have passengers.

I had a recommendation to put it in the hatch, but that seems a long way for a vacuum line to me.

Passenger side trans tunnel would be right on the passsengers calf.

I have thought about gutting the glove box and putting it in there on a panel or somehting fabbed up that would look cool when you open it.

Ideas??????????????????

Glove box is a great place for the electronics.. and very clean when done right.

I think John at All American works on a silver Vette (Stingray type) that has a very clean glove box install. The trans tunnel is just a bad idea and like you said, you like to spray down the engine bay sometimes.

I've never had a bit of a problem and I've always mounted them under the hood on the inner fender opposite the battery.
