I dunno how loud the car is on its own, but an MSD box is surprisingly noisy. If the car is fairly quiet, you will probably hear the buzzing of every ignition event. Just something to think about.

I was wondering about the noise. The car is fairly quite, so that might make it a PIA to live with.

I was looking at putting it where the old air box was. I about put it there last night. It should be a high air flow area, behind the headlight and with that big oval opening right behind it.

Two thing worry me though, water and heat. It is about 4 inches away from the Novi and that damn thing generates some heat.

Pussay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man up and have the courage of your convictions. (Especially those involving under age girls.) You know those MSD's will drive you boomydots if you mount them inside the cockpit. If you think about it, there's zilch for airflow in a closed glove box or under the seat.

I have a Digital 6 mounted under the drivers seat. Before that it had a 6AL mounted on the backside of the fiberglass front bumper, the boost retard was under the hood.
The other car has it mounted near the headlights in the engine bay.

Its a good thing to keep your ignition box away from your computer and its wiring. just an FYI.. the noise the box makes(inaudible) can get and corrupt your computers funtions.

I have mine under the hood for this reason. Not a big deal if the car is carb'd..

It is going in where the old air box was. I made some U shaped brackets for it to stand on and will post some pics when done.

If I can find the damn battery charger for the camera!

I hate to by a whole set for one pill.
