Thanks, I've ignored the issue for months, but it's really starting to get on my nerves.

Hurst, still havn't checked out those battery cables and all. The rain kind of made me change yesterday's plans to do that. I've noticed today that I'm able to pull the ignition cylinder in and out a little bit, not just the little black piece. It slides out of the steering column about 2cm if I pull on it from the black tab piece. Any idea if that could be causing my issue?

This is not my area of expertise,.. so please dont hold this advice as gospel and say Hurst said so.. so it must be right. But I dont think so. The ignition cylinder itself has no electrical connections on the 94/95 cars. It only engages a mechanical arm down in the column that actuates the ignition switch. The switch itself can become faulty,.. but its like any other switch,.. its either on or off. Its different then the Fox ignition switches. The later 96 - 04 cars had a sensor wire for the PATS system to detect the chip in the key. But even the PATS system would have no effect on the starter itself. It still allows the engine to turn over.
