CFM>boost... it wont live long. Even 2 small turbo's is going to flow a decent amount of air. What are you doing to pull timing? As far as fuel pressure, you will need a regulator that has a 1:1 rise

I'm pretty sure those cars have a conventional return style fuel system. Assuming that is the case, a regular 255 in tank pump will be fine. A focus pump would work OK too. As for injectors, 39lb cobra injectors (USCAR plug) or 42lb lightning (bosch plug) would probably be the easiest to drop in it. The lightning MAF will work, but being a twin turbo, I assume it will have to be in a blow through config, and I don't recommend using that style MAF in a blow through config. The best solution is to get a SCT5000 or PMAS HPX tonsil style sensor and bung, and weld it directly into a charge pipe. This doesn't have the troublesome couplers, and won't change readings if it is removed and reinstalled. If you do the injector/MAF combo above, the simplest solution to make it run correctly is get a dyno tune. I can provide the service for a flat rate fee, or the shop/tuner of your choice. I doubt a drop in tune will work for this setup. It will need some hands on work.

Boost will NEVER stay at just 5 lbs. It's addictive. Even if by some miracle the guy never had the urge to turn it up, a proper tune like Brian can provide will mke everything work perfectly well together no matter what size the injectors are. There's more to it than bumping up the fuel pressure adding a BTM and crossing your fingers.

And fmu's are junk from the get go. You said the guy had money, do it right or don't do it at all.

You claim you have done countless turbo's on imports. Boots it boost no matter if its a 4 cyl or an 8 cyl. Its all the same science.

Suck, bang, blow.....its all the same - 1 cylinder all the way up to 12 cylinder motors.

MOST imports I beleive use return style fuel systems correct? I am pretty sure (like brian stated) that the car you are working on is a return style fuel system. A good pump, tad bigger injector, and a regulator that has a 1:1 boost ratio will work. I am pretty sure its the same thing you would do on an import motor
