ummmm suuuure the are...
Following is for 3rd gen F-body
Full Spohn:
Adjustable LCA w/adjustable spherical rod end: $65
LCA relocation brackets: $65
Fully addjustable panhard bar w. spherical rod ends: $140
SFCs: $155
Adjustable torque arm: $355
With only that the car will pul 1.5-1.6 60 ft times on street tires....no thats not just what their webpage says its waht other people online claim they are pulling down also.
350 rivals the ford 302 for price/availability of parts.
The Hamster shall be as follows:
Stock 305 block tanked honed decked
Steel crank (if its not already...I dont know...but I think it is)
block converted to 4 bolt mains
TF rods
TRW pistons (8.0:1 maybe 8.5:1)
either lt1/lt4 or vortec iron heads(vortecs are like $300-400 for a pair)
3degree angle job 2.021.84 Manley valves gasket match possible pocket port
Goodbye Mr. Peanut cam .. Cam specs dependant on head/intake/boost selection
Either:
stock TPI system SLP runners upper and lower plenums gasket matched (Maybe extrude honed...depends costs a pretty penny)
Or:
LT1 intake ($400 modified incl. parts)
Headers
exhaust TBD
Crane fireball ignition
T-5 conversion ($500 bucks...picking up next week??)
ATI Procharger P1SC or D-1 (depending on $) system.

and dont let that start a pissing match. I already watched you guys defend your brand loyalty and tear up GM in the couple of mustang threads in the car chat. I personally disagree of course and thats my opinion....something everyone is entitled to. Craig post up the suspension mods youve got in the drizop. Personally Id be happy to see Alan in a fox body rather than giving into the dark side (again) and going import. And hell if anyone wants to post a buildup of an equally fast fox for the same amount of $$$ or even less go ahead Id love to see it! That was not sarcasm...

As a quick comparison (especially fuel injected wise which I reccomend) how many intake manifolds are there available for the GM TPI found on the newer LT1s? Or even LS1s? 3 or maybe 5 between them? Look at the manifolds available for the 302/351 EFI Ford. It is like a candy store. You want a manifold for a turbo car? How about one for high rpms? Want a good n/a street one? Or maybe an agressive street one that makes good power with a supercharger? Or you are just plain lazy and feel like replacing the stock upper only? Well I can tell you there are 4 or 5 of each catagory out there. Ford has the aftermarket on their side and that is why so many people choose Mustang over F-body to modify. Light weight extreme aftermarket and ease of maintenence are also very vaild reasons.
My ideal Mustang at the moment:
89 coupe
white with black interior from a 92
~331 stroker motor w/ported Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads Victor 5.0 intake custom ground hydraulic roller cam Vortech R series supercharger w/aftercooler.
~Same suspension setup as the Lemon Drop add tubular front k-member coilovers
~subframes 6 point cage
~built 8.8 w/3.73 gears Superior axles main girdle
~widen stock 10 hole wheels for the back roll fender lips mount street slicks paint all 4 10 holers black leave centercaps natural stainless
~paint body solid white not altering stock appearance at all
Go get em.

Time for another Fox body person to jump in. The Fox body is better than the F-Body for all of the reasons previously listed plus:
1. F-Bodys motor is difficult to get to for modifications.
2. The rear ends are weak.
3. The plastic body panels on the newer ones get mis-aligned very easily after a few beatings at the track.
4. They are built by GM
(just kidding Joe
)
I still like the Fox bodies over the SN-95s because of weight less electronics the chasis seems to be easier to work with and a few other minor things that add up. I still like the SN-95s and I know that was not the question at hand.

Holley Systemax intake ported slightly
70mm TB
36#injectors
10:1 Compression ratio
O balance assmebly with lightened rods and pistons and crank
SFI Billet Alumn Flywheel
SPEC Stage III Clutch assembly
T56 Viper 6 Speed
Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft

Moser Axles
5 lug conversion
the rear mini-tubbed
Coil over conversion
Griggs suspension setup throughout

sorry guy, but those modifications you mentioned arent going to get you into the 10s unless your car is gutted down to like 2200lbs. and as for the 60ft. times being 1.5s and 1.6s, no street tire is going to do that unless you have ahooking suspension. and still i dont see it happening unless you are making 375-400 hp to the tires. that would be on drag radials not street tires. i know some nasty f-bodies and the fastes all motor f-body ive seen runs 10s with a stroked motor, afr race heads, custom ground solid roller cam pushing .668 int. .680 exh. 260/272 duration @.50, a custom intake manifold from wilsons manifolds,40 lb. injectors, f.a.s.t tuning system, 4.56 gears, and a super 700 automatic with a 4800 stall from art carr with every type of suspension upgrade you can imagine. 1998 TA hybrid LS1. so you might want to do your numbers again buddy. i personally have 2 mustangs. a 90 coupe and a 95 cobra. but thats a story for another day. youll see the cobra taking on all the dyno queen supras and any other type of import you can imagine in the only place they can make a name for themselves, in the dyno room.NOT THE DRAG STRIP!!!
no lx came with rear disc brakes, the 93 cobra was the only production fox body mustang to ever get 4 wheel discs all the way around. my 90 coupe weighs 3250lbs. with tubular suspension and a 12 point cage. nothing else has been changed to reduce weight.
