Yeah, you have to lash it as tight as possible, but it can be done. For durability, it is less than optimal.

IT has been done before alot of boat racers use them they tighten the lash up alot...
and the valve spring pressure on a big hd roller is the same as a small solid

at least i didnt ask my car makes a noise when im driving it anybody know what is wrong with it only happens down hill under light throttle lol

I remember an article in car craft. I think it was a Maverick? They put a fuel injected SBF in it with a valvetrain setup just like this, ran tens IIRC. Aren't most HYD & Solid roller cam made from the same materiel? billet?
