Sorry almost forgot your question. I only have a 100 shot on it now. Motor is a LT4 with Dart Pro1 heads on it. CC503 cam w/ 1.6's edlebrock air gap with a twin 58mm tb. 6spd w/ 342 gear. 2700 miles on it.
dam thats a nice combo, I ll bet it gets better then mid 6 s when your on the bottle, my fuel pump is a 225 or a 255 i can t remember, but I also don t remember if the 94 stuck with hypereutectic pistons or forged, so I think thats why I am a little leary about it, specially cuz I have aluminum heads and intake, and I also have a stage 1 trick flow cam, all my stuff is trick flow in this thing. its gotta built rear that would hold your steup for sure, small gear tho. 3.55 with an eaton diff, 31 spline strange ss axles, adjustable MM lowers and uppers, eibach springs, and a cup that allows you adjust you spring height. its a nice set up. I know my rear holds up good.

sicksaleen94....are you sure you car is in proper working order? From what you describe you have a very mild head/cam/intake package. Your complaining about breaking up at top end. Not that a tune wont help (it will help alot) but for what you have the stock computer should be able to handle it.

Yes the 94's came with the hypereutectic piston, while not as strong as forged they will handle a shot of nitrous no questions asked. Beleive it or not they are stronger than what most people make them out to be.

Put a 100 shot on it, back timing down 2 degrees, and drop the spark plug one step colder and gap to .035 and go have fun!

Tru story, I know for a fact its all stock.

To set the record straight we have shoved a 200 shot (not rulers car) down a stock 4.6L before (which has hypereutectic pistions) and it held just fine.

I dunno why everyone thinks the hyper pistons are so bad. They arent forged by any means they still hold decent. Plus, they are cheap. I had a boss back in high school that had a ranger with a 351w in it. He got some of the keith black hyper pistons and ran his motor with a think around a 10.5:1 or 11:1 CR. Wasnt a blazingly fast truck but it still went 12.5 on street tires with no traction. Even the guys that write on the rebuild books say that the hyper pistons will hold up to some mild abuse.

Well I have some decent size heads they are trick flow ported and polished and i can t remember what the valves are, but I ve got 1.6 rockers, double valve spring, and trick flow stage 1 cam and trick flow track heat intake, with 19 lb injectors right now ( i have 24 s but not sure i can put them in without the tune ) I ve got full exhaust, bassani shortys 1 5/8 with bassani x pipe with high flow cats and borla stainless out the back with borla mufflers. I do have 2 spark plug wires that were bad when I ran that night, ( when it was breaking up real bad ) also I have a MSD 6 al I need to put in ( again I didn t yet cuz I thought I needed the tune ) and I have a vortec mass air with 24 lb inlet tube to put in and yes I didnt cuz I thought I needed a tune, its got pullies and CAI fenderwell, all kinds of shit in this thing. and still stuff to go in it. So
91 Notch tell me what the deal is and what i can and cant use without this tune.
