Well,.. she can beat 05+ 6 cylinder stangs no problem and their supposed to be rated 200hp or something like that. I know their heavy fuck beasts,. but still,. .a win is a win an she pulls some car lengths on them. I wont go so far as to say she'll eat a 4.6. My wife refuses to try. I tell to get on it but she just wont,.. (Sigh). But with a 100shot you never know. I know the clutch we have now wont last maybe 3 - 4 passes LoL.

These cars are nose heavy beasts. We had to swap to sport line springs to get the car to stop the nose diving and the insane nose lift when accelerating. Before the spring swap all it would do is spin the wheels. It launches pretty good now. No idea what it will do at the track,.. feels like a mid 15 second car. I've had it up to 130 out on the Suncoast going up to Brooksville. There was a little more,.. but I was coming up on a bridge and that area is notorious for FHP hiding in the median on the other side of bridges.

They are uncomfortable cars for tall people. No head room,.. the Sunroof eats up 3 inches compared to cars with no sunroof. The steering wheel is disproportionate compared to the pedal location. I have a choice,.. sit back with my arms stretched out or scrunched up with my legs bent and the seat reclined back. I do the latter,.. LoL. I cant wait till this car is paid off so we can go in debt on something else more enjoyable. My wife is only 5'1 so she doesnt have this problem.

When the Cobra was totaled we paid cash for my truck and 4 months later bought her Tiburon. Gas was at something like $4.20 gal and seemed like there was no end in sight. Figured with the 6 spd and 35 mpg it would be fun enough to not be boring and not kill us at the pump. Only had 18k on the clock and we jewed the dealer down from $12k to $10,2k out the door with transferable warranty,.. seemed like a good deal at the time. (Hyundai's have no resale value).

Its been a good car mechanically. My wifes runs the car pretty hard plus I've put it through its paces a few times. I drove it 2 weeks ago.. I got pissed at this old fart who cut over from the right lane to the far left lane that I was in and then only went 40 mph in a 50 zone,.. so I down shifted and zoomed around,.. thats when I discovered the clutch was slipping a lil,.. and I'm NOT looking forward to doing a clutch in this thing.

I might have to make it out to that. I have yet to take my car to the track to break it. I have to work Wednesday nights so I never get to go to Sunshine. And in no way shape or form do I think my car will beat anything but little girls on RAZR scooters.
