Is this ricey?
The idea isn't ricey but Volks on a Fox body just isn't right to me.....
I am not loving it, but I would like to see first hand how it handles... time attack cars have some of the best suspension setups.... I think it would be great to hang it wide open going into turns....
My 3.5" front skinnies could never do that.

Its too bad fox bodys handle like sloppy ass. The owner should have built a miata
450hp in a 2700lb fox is no joke on the course.

I'm sure if you took the drivers of the Z06 and fox and swapped their cars the Z06 would be lapping the mustang like it was parked in the paddock.
And you can make anything run a 6 with enough money. My civic only has lowering springs and I've beaten several fox's with at least coilovers, cars that are built for autocross.
A fox with coilovers doesnt mean shit. Springs dont make a car handle that much better unless the previous springs were just totally wrong. The only impact they would have would be on the balance of the vehicle and lowering the center of gravity. How the suspension is setup and what type is what makes all the difference. That being said there are fox mustangs out there that are more than capable of dusting that Z06. Hell, in hot rod magazine a couple years back they had a 64 GTO that was built to spank porsches and ferraris and thats exactly what it did. Bigger body muscle cars arent exactly known for their handling. Heres the article. 1964 Pontiac GTO - Never Give Up - Featured Vehicle - Hot Rod Magazine

I've seen that GTO, and the fact is that type of muscle car is extremely rare. We were talking about fox bodys, and fox bodys do in fact handle like sloppy ass. I never said you couldn't make one handle well, though it is a pretty expensive task to do so compared to other vehicles of similar price.
