Default anyone fix convertable tops????

my threads on my convertable top on mustang have came apart is there anyone who can sew it? and my cable has came unsewn too please help any info would be great.

Probably gonna be more cost efficient to put a new top on. I'd recommend taking to a shop...not an easy job to get them right.

+1 for new top > repairing old top. +1 for shop > self install. However, convertible tops on cars is just about the only thing that we do not do. Sorry! But thanks for the referrals fellas!

thanks guys i got a quote for $750 for a whole new top. just wasnt looking for a whole new top cus its just the threads on the sides that came undone.

It will be best to replace it. The troulbe is, if those stitches are done, others will be as well.

I replaced mine on the Saleen. It took me most of 2 weekend and a crap load of measuring and double checking things. I paid about $450 for the top and a new glass window, so $750 sounds pretty good for the whole job. Just make sure you get an OEM or better quality material.
