I'm going to get the 65mm delete plate whenever I get around to it. Right now I just need to get it running.

 

Yeah, thats something that I've been wanting to do. All of the EGR is eliminated but I still have the dead valve and spacer stuck on the intake.

Nice site. Do those plugs really kill the CEL? They also have a few of the plug pigtails i need to replace.

 

Yes, they do, as well as kill any bucking issues related to a bad EGR when you you can't block it off.

 

Car is running excellent! Threw a little base idle tuning on it before work. Runs perfect, better than with the 19's. Runs cooler than before too! I'm very pleased with it, just need to track down what I suspect is a small exhaust leak.

I let it breath a little on my way home, just slapped second for a second...nothing much, less than half throttle. She's quick - moved out quicker with that little bit of throttle than it did before under full bore lol.

 

I just seen this thread, it sucks you were having a problem with it..... Good to hear it's working out for ya now though.....

 

I had more noise than I would have liked when I put mine back together. The whole top end was new and everything changed. I added a new roller cam, new OEM roller lifters and roller rocker arms. The arms were a little noisy and from what I hear, some people say the Comp Cams XR roller cam series I used are noisy as well. (aggressive lobe ramps??????)

Anyway, I went thru the rocker settings like 3 times before I was happy.
