Your smoking crack, You must know nothing at what your talking about when it comes to diesels. Any good diesel owner knows the chevy 350 5.7 diesel was the worst concoction in diesel history.

In reality, though, you might hear of the horror stories, but there are plenty of stories of people who own these diesels that have had no issues, and are happy with there 6.0L. So, by what you hear on ps.com or FTE.com, dont assume that all 6.0 are shitty. They do the job, and if you leave them alone, give them there general maintenance they hold up quite well. And also its the 03 and 04 models that had some of the issues that are prone to the 6.0 having such a bad name. And dont think the 7.3 didnt have there normal failures such as the HPOP, hard starting and sometimes not even starting.

your definition of good and mine are clearly different. Many pintos held up with the rear mounted gas tank and had no explosion problems so they must have been a good design as well. Im done here this argument is old and has been done better by people far more knowledgeable than us. you may rant on if you wish but only a fool would buy a 6.0 to turn into a drag truck (what this tread started as) unless they wanted to put a cummins in it.

And How am I smoking crack? I said the worst diesel motor in the last 25 years and you talk about a motor introduced in 78 that would make it 31. I dont think your terd smells like roses no matter how many times you ask me to smell it.

LOL.... Split dick hairs much?

I will concede being that I have not seen a 6.0L diesel drag truck. Not saying they arent out there. But about the cummins motor, Im not arguing that one bit.

Exzactly.....Prbably 80% of the people that buy diesels think they can mod them the way you do a car and they are problem / maint free. WRONG!! There is a big difference and basic maint (fuel filters / seperaters, oil and filter) is expensive.

BTW I had no issues with my 6.0 and beat the piss out of it.
