Yep..When I was 14 my neighbors that got me interested in this hobby both had V8 pintos old school Mustangs. Its an easy swap if you dont mind using factory cast manifolds
They both had "You shoulda hada V-8" between the tail lights.

Yeah. Go check out car domain and there are tons of pintos with windsors in them. I would go with a 351w. Apparently even worn out motors tend to get pintos moving pretty good. That and nobody expects a pinto to be anything more than... ya'know, a pinto.

^ so true but i want to stick with my 302. hell f-ing thing is getting a full rebuild!
but why would i have to use them ugly cast iron mani's? i have bbk shorty's right now.
and as far as the "you shoulda had V8" thing, i saw a fox out in brandon a while back that had "catch me" in his back window brake light lol.

Shortys may work..its one of those things that you'll have to bolt them up and test fit to see itf they'll clear. The ones I seen done / worked on was before the 5.0 parts market exploded. Then there wasnt many options, plus this was poor boy hot rodding. They would hog out the cast ones and tthey flowed well enough for a 2,000lb car. Very traction limited
