FMX and C6 tranny question

FMX and C6 tranny question
Does a C6 Tranny have the same bolt pattern as an FMX? I have a '70 351 cleveland and it's attached to an FMX. I have a spare C6 and would like to swap it out and I hear they are the same. Has anyone made this swap and know for sure?

Only a limited quantity of C6's were ever produced with a small block ford bellhousing pattern. All others had the big block ford bellhousing pattern. Your 351 cleveland has the small block pattern. So the chances of your C6 working are very slim.

alot is still a limited quantity when you consider almost every BBF and damn near every 400M came with a C6 behind it.
