Default Newbie question??

I would like to know if 2003 cobra wheels would fit on a 2008 ford ranger!!

Yes. You may want to check the backspacing, but they will physically fit and bolt right up. They may or may not stick a bit out of the fender wells.

Also, another thought to consider - if the truck is 4wd, or 2wd but has the "Edge" package (4wd hubs, etc), then the CENTERS of the wheels will not clear the hub.

Its 2wd base model truck.
so if i buy a set they will bolt right up i wont need any spacers or do anything else?

I've put 18" Cobra Wheels on an Edge that I owned before; but I had to have the centers drilled out for the larger hub.

The stock 17" '03 Cobra Wheels should be *fine* - as the Cobra brakes would be considerably larger than that on your Ranger; and as you already mentioned, being it's a 2wd, you'll have no problems w/the hubs.

The *only* issue you may have is the backspacing, which would possibly push the face of the rim/tire out of the wheel well a bit. But I don't think you will have an issue w/it, IMO.

you will not be able to run the center caps on the fronts unless you run at least a 5/16" spacer i believe. the wheels should actually tuck in a bit i would think due to the offset
