I am in the process of painting Pony rims.Base coat/clear coat.Q? Should I paint with the old tires still on the rims or remove them?I dont want to get anything in the bead area that could cause a slow leak.Also, What is the chance of the tire place screwing up the finish?Clear coat is hard as hell after a few weeks but not impossible to scratch by any means.
