im looking at an 87 2.3 hatch for 500 bones. horad hard and how long would it take to pull the 2.3 out with the auto trans and drop in a 302 and 5 speed trans? i know the front shocks and sprinds need to be swaped but what else would need to be done?

 

I have left plenty of stock spring and shocks in over the years if they are not worn out why f with them

you and a freind could knock it out in a week end if you thrash at it

its a fox its like a toy

 

well i know the wrenching should only take me a day. but as far as fuel pump, electrical (making sure the gages stay working). but it's going from an EFI to a carb with mech. fuel pump.
