Default Front end shake on a SN-95....Need ideas.

I have a shake in the front end of the wife's 94 vert. It's a V-6. (if that means anything other than it's WAY under-powered ) I put some new rims and tires on the front and all of a sudden, when I get to 45 MPH and above, it shakes like the whole front end is comming apart.

Initially, I thought the rims were out of balance....So I took em in to have them balanced. Right after having them balanced, I took it out and the same thing. Anything from 45 MPH up, it shakes your fillings out. So, I thought maybe the tires were suspect.....Nope. They're good.

I thought maybe I had the directions wrong. I double checked...Nope, they were all right.

Then, I thought, maybe I had a bad set of rims and went back to my stockers....It STILL had the problem. So, the rims and tires are not causeing the problem in the front end...

I jacked up the front end, and the tires can move side to side, but not up and down. I looked at the lower ball joints, and they weren't shaking....I looked at the outer tie rod ends, and they weren't loose....Any other ideas? I'm stumped!

I thought that too, but I did the push and bounce test. I pushed down and bounced it a few times on both corners. No excessive bounce at all. In fact, after I let loose, it just stopped bouncing.

Hmm, I'm not reading that right... So when you pushed down on the fenders, the car didn't bounce back up slowly? If it stayed down then the shocks or shizot. If it came back up nice and slowly/softly then the valving is still good in the shocks, and troubles are coming from somewhere else

I didn't see one on there when I took the original rims off....hmmm.....Before I put on the new rims, there was no problem.......Hmmmm........

I just spoke to a friend and he said the "inner tie rod ends" may be fried....Apparently they're inside the rack? Anyone else ever heard of this happening?
