I checked the outters...I didn't know they even HAD inners. LOL I didn't see a ball joint for the inners like I do on my 67 mustang....So I didn't know they existed.

Drive only on paved roads without potholes when you're going to go over 45.

Ok, so now it gets REALLY weird......before I only messed around with the FRONT two rims and tires....Today I decided that since the car was freshly painted, it DESERVED to have the new rims ALL THE WAY AROUND....So, I took off the stockers and put on the new ones....I figured that if the rims were messed up, might as well make em ALL messed up. LOL

Well, I put them all on and then drove it. It was FINE! Dunno what was wrong with it STILL though.....I WISH I could have said I was high or something....But no.

the tires could have had a separated belt with in the structure of the tire, or the belt could have shifted due to bad construction of the belts where they overlay inside the rubber. I have seen this happen countless times.

while your problem seems to have "gone away" for now.....^that is still not a good thing and a symptom of a bad inner tie rod. watch for uneven tire wear.
