Whats the best at home method for cleaning up this c6 trans? The aluminum is a bit "dusty" since its been sitting for 10 years. I think I'll paint it at some point since it will be sitting a while longer.
I figured I'd ask before I get the pressure washer out and ruin it.
Also where can I find a cheap dipstick since its missing.

 

I use wire brushes/ cone wheels that you can mount in a drill, best method I have found.

 

Transbuilder buddy of mine, before he purchased a heated cleaner used a pressure washer for the inside and outside before rebuilds.

 

I've bead/ sand blasted the case sbefore and then clear coated them
