Anyone know which wire to splice to run to my MSD box for my factory tachometer?

 

Should be a Dark Green/yellow strip wire. Near the drivers side strut tower.

 

and your probably going to need a tach adaptor to make it work, I know I had to use one.....

The MSD sends a square wave signal that most factory tachs won't read without and adaptor..... Most of the good quality aftermarket tachs can read many different signals including square wave so they work fine without an adaptor.....

 

What kinda signal does one of those HEI Proform distributors send out?

 

I believe they send a standard pulse that the factory tachs will read.....

 

k. Was about to openmouthinsertfoot so thought I'd ask first.
