Default have a few ???'s

ok, i got the 85 all together, put a new starter, and sylonoid on it(twice), and for sum weird ass fuckin reason, even if the key is on the off posi, the car wants to start itsself, from past experience, this told me either the started is puttin out too many amp and is toast, or the sylonoids not grounding out on the fender, or the sylonoid is shit, after replacing the sylonoid twice and the starter once, i doubt thats it, the car has fuel and spark but wont start and wen i hook the battery up all it wants to do is try to start. need sum advice on this or if neone would like to make 20bux to take a look and see if u can fix, plz let me know.

Did you buy the coupe recently or are you the original owner who was selling it on here? I was two days from going to get that car but my schedule kept me from harboring a project at the time. Wondering how its running now that its back together.

Another thing to check is the starter solenoid itself. If you bought it at someplace like Autozone, they are cheap crap. I had a similar problem and found that the solenoid was welding itself closed when it tried to start. That happened on 3 new ones in a row. I went to the junkyard and got a real live Ford solenoid, used and dirty though it was, and have never had the problem since.
