What do I need, just the manual rack?

 

Thats the best way to do it is to put the manual rack in it.

I currently have a power rack with no lines hooked up and it does just fine. Alot of people have tried to tell me its gonna lock up someday....but hasnt yet. I never drive the car anyway. Someday a manual rack will find its way into the car.

So ya go get a manual rack...dont be cheap like me lol

 

you also will need the rag joint, the p/s joint will not work

 

what is the difference between the power and manual outer tie rods? just curious....

 

I believe the tie rod ends are the same, its the steering shaft joint that is different and hard to come by unless you buy the flaming river joint or find a factory one. Thats the expense is that the Flaming River joint is expensive.

 

M/S conversion is overrated
