Now is that caused by the drop mounts, as aforementioned? Or is this with using a stock mount location and then using a hood scoop or cowl hood?

Also, how would that effect a turbo plumbing / exhaust routing with a larger deck height?

IE: 9.2 or 9.5 deck height block with a single turbo

Additionally, I've seen blocks that must not have been stock in some way, shape, or form that have been an odd deck height. Something like 9.1667" -- how does that come about? Shaving / decking the block that was an original 9.2" I'd assume?

I thought it was just the C8 and C9 blocks that were 9.4? The D0 blocks are supposed to be 9.5? I know the D0 - D3 are the most prized,.. then after 74 they used thin wall castings. Thats why I thought the 70 blocks were 9.5 also.
