ignition wire's.
does anyone have a blue print or something saying which wire does what coming off the key cyl.? the ignition system was riged on the 86 with a push button start, but you still need the key cyl. in the on position with no key. so im just going to hook it all up to switches and just put in a hidden circut cut off switch somewhere.

no you dont need a key to put it in the onn position. it almost looks as if it was drilled out. so you switch it to the on position- then you push another button that was wired in and that activates the starter. so im just wanting to go all switches.

sounds as if the neutral safety switch has been bypassed. Is the button wired directly to the starter silonoid onthe driverside fender?
if so, replace the NSS and the the ignition cylinder in the column.....

i dont want to use a key, and plus the wiring is so f'ed up on this car it would not work. so im just going to finish striping it all out and just go with switches.
