are there number's or something on the motor that will tell me what year and model it is?

 

Should be on the block on the passenger side just above the starter. Hard to see with the engine in the car. You can try pulling the starter and see if you can see it. Good chance it's covered by a bunch of oil and gunk.

and these stamps are by the starter correct? and there are similur markings on the heads as well?
