I was also told if you re adjust the throttle blade screw then you need to adjust the tps again

that seems to be close it idles real good now but sometimes hunts idle. It had a bad iac valve I think. I took a used one from a 2.3 motor and I had cleaned it real good.

Set it as close to .99 as you can get it without hitting 1.0

this is because when you turn the set screw it moves the throttle blade which moves the TPS sensor from its static "closed position". this is why you have to readjust the TPS after you move the adjustment screw.

....and in theory the car is supposed th idle off of the IAC not the throttle blade. <----I realize this rarely works on a motor with big heads and cam.

i've been wondering this same thing. but how do you adjust it? i know on some of my other cars i have had you can lossen up the tps and shift it but i cant do that on my mustang. not trying to steal the thread but it's better then starting a new one on the same topic right.
