Angry running alittle hot?

my vert runs between 180-190 but when i jump on it or downshift to add power it gets as hot as 225 thats the hottest i've seen it...ive already gotten a new water pump, flushed the radiator, got an electric fan, did a 160 degree thermostat with housing, turned timing down a hair to reduce heat and it still runs alittle hot. the only other thing i can think of is replacing the radiator.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!

maybe your mix is a little to thick, or, try some of that weter water stuff. it's only a few bucks at advance and does an ok job. other then that. are you sure the fan is kicking on and have you checked all your hose's for any kinks?

225 in 98 degree heat when ur beating on it isnt really the end of the world. especially for an almost 20 year old car thta had a shitty cooling system to start with. especially with performance work done to it. does the temp come back down nice and even and stay normal with daily driving?

for starters put a 180 thermostat back in the car. 160 have a tendency to make the car run hotter.

most aftermarket electric fans for foxbody mustangs aren't even as efective as the stock fan.

it comes back down to about 200 or so and yea its hot as 40 hells outside right now. i have an a/c delete kit so i may not even need to run a thermostat? nothing but the dash shell and some wires..just an idea. the fan that i have on there now is only pushing around 1600cfm. idk if thats good enough.

+1

+1 on Iwinulose statment also. Longer you keep the water in the radiator the more it has a chance to cool. All the cooling of the system comes from the radiator disapating heat.

And wether you have A/C or not if you are runnin it on the street it should always have a thermostat.
