A long story short but I have converted from a column shifter to a floor shifter using a '71 Mach I tunnel/shifter.....problem I am having is that I need a rod that is not too long that runs from the kickdown lever to the floor shifter....haven't been able to find any, the donor floor shifter didn't have one in the boneyard....Do I need to modify the one that NPD has or is there a direct stock replacement....the tunnel in the '65 falcon isn't real wide....I purchased a Lokar throttle cable/kickdown kit and want to hook that up

 

Kickdown rod goes from carb to tanny, doesnt go to the shifter ~column or floor shift doesnt make a difference
