ok what head light harness didi you use the one for the 93 or the one for the 88 if you used the 93 hanress it will not plug in to your 88 still and if you are running the 2.3 head light harness for the v8 the wires would need to be made long there are a few things this could be

 

im still using the 4cyl harness.. i didnt have to make them longer, just routed them a different way.

 

are you using anying of ur 88 harness id so the pins are diff you really need to use all the 88 harnesses or get the right yr harness

 

no. im using a late 92 engine harness and the 93 4cyl body and headlight harness.

i was checking it out a few minutes ago and it seems to be a break in the second connector on the alternator. everytime i hold it on there tight it charges fine.

 

if i were you i would get the 93 headlight harness it will work a lil better
